The Dumb Clubhouse Digest #2

Hey gang,

Chris here with an April update for you. March was a crazy month for us that involved tech issues, scheduling issues, and just straight up issues, and we thank you for hanging with us while we ironed out the kinks!

We’ve implemented a couple upgrades to the website I wanted to let you know about, all with the intent of making your experience at Dumb Industries even more seamless and fun. I’ll be chatting more about this in detail tonight on Behind The Dumb exclusively in The Dumb Clubhouse at 8pm ET, which you should totally join if you have any questions about anything related to Dumb!

The Dumb Clubhouse Chat is Now better Than Ever

Up until now, the only way to access the private chat in The Dumb Clubhouse or elsewhere on the site was to login with existing credentials such as Facebook or Google. It was confusing, on top of it randomly logging users out from time to time which is never a fun experience when all you’re trying to do is chat with friends.

But that’s all in the past! You no longer need to login to chat separately. As long as you’re logged into your Dumb Industries account, the chat will automatically assign you a Clubhouse username (e.g. ClubhouseMember_1234), allowing you to set a nickname and profile photo ONCE, without ever having to do it again. All chatrooms on our website will recognize your account, so even chatrooms in other memberships like Weird & Wonderful, Super Dumb Bros. and Art Draws Us Together will remember who you are.

Any issues accessing the chat, setting your nickname or profile picture? Just shoot me a message at chris@dumb-industries.com.

The Black Lodge debuts April 13

Fans of Emmy Martian, rejoice! For years, Emmy has hosted bonus watch parties in our Discord server, and now we’re excited to offer those directly on our website for ALL members of The Dumb Clubhouse. It’s THE BLACK LODGE!

Starting April 13 you can join Emmy every Monday at 9:30pm ET, directly following Super Dumb Bros., for bonus weekly watch parties in which she’ll showcase various content of years past from her massive collection of oddities. The Black Lodge can be accessed on its own page here.

don’t miss a special Bonus session with Jackey on Twitch April 14

If you were watching The Dumb Clubhouse 2026 Drive live, you know we were sadly unable to have Jackey Neyman Jones lead her bonus Art Draws Us Together segment due to her studio losing internet. But we are going to make it up to everyone on Tuesday, April 14 @ 8pm ET on both Twitch and in The Dumb Clubhouse!

The theme, Blood Waters of Dr. Z, has already inspired quite a few submissions from artists who got an early start on their work (see above), and we can’t wait to see what YOU come up with! If you haven’t attended a session before, this is an excellent opportunity to dip your toes and see how much fun we’re having. You can check out our gallery here to get an idea of the wide variety of skill sets and mediums represented in our community.

It’s also that time of the month for members to vote on upcoming April sessions, which you can do on Jackey’s latest blog entry here.

We also upgraded the signup page for Art Draws Us Together, making it easier than ever to see what’s included in your membership, as well as all the benefits included with each plan. Take a look and signup today!

Movie Jo Night Trivia is April 28! Submit your questions

If you caught Tuesday’s all-new episode of The Mary Jo Pehl Show with Ari Hoptman, then you know that viewers voted for our April 28 episode to be Movie Jo Night Trivia! Mary Jo and I will be squaring off against each other with our Associate Producer Matt Reiser hosting and coming up with trivia questions—and you can also submit your own questions via the form below!

Try to stump us! It can’t be done! Or maybe it can, I dunno.

That’s it for now. Don’t forget to check out our calendar and get on our newsletter so you never miss something Dumb. Any questions? Comment below and see you soon!
